Up here, on the Upper West Side, there's a place on 74th and Broadway that I go to a lot in the morning, Cafe Margot. It has one of the best croissants in the city, which is, for me, a major food group—the croissants. They even have a very good almond croissant which is usually something I would never go for. It's kind of tucked away, so nobody goes there who doesn't know about it. A lot of mornings, when I'm out walking the dog in the park, I'll end it by going here, tying up the dog, and having a coffee. They also have really good sandwiches on a baguette—they're more European style, so it doesn't have 3 inches of meat on it—it has a slice of turkey. It's just simpler.
