I go to BAM a lot to see movies. I just love the atmosphere and the programming. They have beautiful theaters and such a great selection of movies—I'm inspired a lot by movies. Sometimes I write songs which seem either to be based on music in movies—not intentionally, but I'll realize later that something in the movie got stuck in my head—and then I'll write something similar. Or I know topically Matt, who writes lyrics in the band, definitely steals from movies. We all love to go to BAM. —Aaron Dessner.
