One of my must-eats is Da Silvano in the West Village. I love the service. It feels as if I am at home and the food is to die for. Plus, there are always at least five wonderful, handsome young Italian waiters catering to my every need—how can I not love this place? My favorite dish here is the whole artichoke with a great balsamic dressing to start, and the braised beef rib for my main course. Wow, it will knock your socks off. You can opt to sit outside on the sidewalk terrace—it's great for people watching and it's fun to eat in the midst of the hustle-bustle of New York City nightlife—but you also have the option to cozy up in a little nook inside. Oh, and don't miss out on the dessert—Panacotta is my dish of choice.
