If I'm in the mood for a real filling meal, I head to El Faro on Greenwich Street. It's by far the best Spanish food in the city. For starters, I get a carafe of sangria and the shrimp ajillo and the tortilla al espanola as appetizers. My main dish favorites are the chicken villarroy and clams a la marinera. You will leave with a full stomach—and a full wallet. A hundred bucks will feed four people.
