I'm kind of an amateur design geek and I've always really been interested in design, and there actually aren't too many design stores in New York. There are a lot of "designer" stores, and there are a lot of places to get really high end stuff, but there aren't a lot of really good places that aggregate design and curate things or think about design in terms of a "whole hog" kind of perspective. So that's what I really like about the MoMA store—they have a good selection of design stuff. I bought a lot of things on the inspiration of the MoMA design store, like my home office. Since I spend 14 hours a day there, I totally tricked it out, I have an Aeron chair and Herman Miller desk. I like everything to be really nice while I'm working. The MoMA store is one of those places where I have to go once every few months to see what they may have added or changed.
