One of the places I love is the boutique A Détacher. It's in Nolita at 262 Mott Street. The owner is fantastic, her name is Mona Kowalska and she designs a line of clothes that is only sold in her boutique. She doesn't wholesale anywhere. I actually bought the most beautiful pair of shoes from her the other day, they're just fabulous. She designed them, and they're just cool beyond belief. I should have worn them today! And she has one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry. It's just very avant-garde. It feels very European, and it has a very European clientele. I mean, people in Paris probably know more about it than people in New York! And I'm selling my oil there, so that's exciting. She loved it, and I love her store.
