Locanda Vini e Ollii is a really great restaurant in Clinton Hill. It's a very beautiful room because it's an ex-pharmacy and it has all the original wooden setting, as far as I know. You feel like you're in an old apothecary. But Locanda Vini e Ollii is all about the food. One thing I can say is that if you love Tuscany, it is the place to go. I was just in Tuscany over Christmas holidays and we were sampling food from the region. Locanda Vini e Ollii has it right down to the pasta which is called Pici, which is very traditional of the region. Everything is made with cinghiale which is wild boar, which I didn't eat because I'm vegeterian but everybody was really pleased to see that it was such an authentic take on Tuscan. It's owned by some really nice people, I think they're a French-Tuscan couple. It can be very bustling on the weekend so it could be hard to get a seat without reservations. I love the place, it's a really romantic beautiful place to go.
