Jay McCarroll Says

The Boiler Room has a great jukebox and cheap drink specials. The crowd is pretty chill and eclectic. I usually go with one or two friends. I don't like a huge crowd because it's too hard to coordinate everyone's schedule so it's easy to just coordinate with one person and then go off and be debaucherous. They play '80s, '90s, New Wave, The Cure, Bananarama—all that fun stuff. The Boiler Room is where you go to wind down and listen to good music. I kind of tend to go for the divey bars, I don't like plush places that become uptight and stupid. The Boiler Room you definitely need to go to early, but everybody heads to The Cock at the end of the night.
