Several years ago Doma opened up in the space of an old antique shop, and it was just so cool. It's a very homey atmosphere, the opposite of a Starbucks. Doma has mismatched furniture, books on the shelves, and amazing food. They even sponsor an Ethiopian kid. The staff who work here are all beautiful women. I used to come in here every single day to sit at the common table, eat breakfast, meet people, and write. You can see famous people in here too. It's a real neighborhood hang out. I think a lot of well-known movies and TV shows have been written at these tables.
