Blue Hill is a beautiful place for a date. It's a restaurant on Washington Street that has all local ingredients and the most amazing chef, whom I also went to college with, Dan Barber. They also have another restaurant up in Westchester called Blue Hill at Stone Barnes, which is on a farm. They grow much of their own food, and it's just one of those places where everything is perfect. It's not too fancy, it's not too intrusive, but it feels like behind-the-scenes, they put so much care into everything and the service is phenomenal.
