Let's talk about Japanese food. My favorite Sushi place is Jewel Bako downtown. Hands-down the best Japanese restaurant for me. Everything is so incredibly fresh. The place isn't big—and neither are the dishes—but trust me, once it gets into your mouth you'll taste the difference! Set in a romantic and relaxing atmosphere, I always enjoy the very nice and warm interior. Since little importance is usually given to interior design in most sushi restaurants, this is an especially nice touch. I highly recommend their Trio of Tartares with blue fin tuna, salmon & yellowtail served with lotus root chips.
