I love the gallery area in Chelsea. By far, the show of the past few months that struck me the most is Feigen's gallery, "Blessed are the Merciful," curated by Jerome Jacobs. Twenty-four contemporary artists comment—with various tones (ranging from humor to irony) and mixed media—on money, power and religion. In an increasingly desensitized culture, I found this exhibit particularly resonating. I recommend checking out the Feigen Contemporary, whatever is on show. They represent an interesting mix of artists, and always display a very surprising and rich collection. I love to discover new talents, so I especially appreciate the fact that they not only back established—but also emerging ones.
