Extra Virgin really feels like a labor of love, which makes sense since the owner is also the chef here. Inside, the red bricks and candles translates to a very warm, cozy atmosphere. It's very charming. But on a sunny afternoon for brunch or on a beautiful evening, it's also great to sit outside, as Extra Virgin happens to be located on one of the prettiest blocks in the Village. And I haven't even started on the flavorful Mediterranean cuisine… like their Linguini "Allevongolle," Roasted Cod Fish and Almond Crusted Mahi Mahi. Or, for the really hungry males out there, the Hanger Steak Au Poivre should do the trick.
