I met Mary when I first came here to visit my brother David. He brought me by her shop late at night. I couldn't believe it, it was like frosting. Then I just kind of became friends with her. I saved up some money and asked her to make a fancy dress for me. I like hand-made clothes a lot, and it was the first time I had a dress made for myself. She has books of dresses that she has made in the past, and she'll work with what you like. You constantly go back for fittings and stuff. Of course, whatever colors I choose, people say, "No Amy, that's not right for you."
